Disaster Relief Application

before going forward, here are some things to consider:

There is no guarantee if or when we will deploy. Since we partner with orgs on the ground, we must wait until they tell us how we are needed.

  • You will need a high degree of independence and flexibility. Things won’t always go as planned, and you should be ready to improvise and change your expectations.

  • You will probably be uncomfortable (tired, sweaty, dirty, too hot/too cold, etc).

  • It’s not always exciting. We help however we can, and sometimes that involves just cleaning cages or administering meds in a shelter.

  • You might see animals in rough shape and/or tough conditions.

  • Keeping a positive attitude is essential!
